How to Plan the Perfect Foam Party
Whether you're planning a backyard birthday or a 500-person field day, this guide covers everything you need to know: space requirements, what to wear, activity ideas, safety, cleanup, and a step-by-step planning timeline.
How Much Space Do You Need?
A flat, open area of at least 20 × 20 feet, roughly the size of a two-car garage. That's enough for 25–30 guests. Bigger groups? Just add more room.

Quick Space Specs
- Minimum area: 20 × 20 ft (400 sq ft)
- Best surfaces: Grass, concrete, turf
- Water access: Garden hose within 100 ft
- Flat terrain: No steep hills or uneven ground

What Should Guests Wear to a Foam Party?
Foam parties are a wet, bubbly experience. Dress accordingly and you'll have a blast.
Swimsuit or Play Clothes
Anything they don't mind getting wet. The foam rinses off easily and won't stain.
Water Shoes or Barefoot
Closed-toe water shoes are great on concrete. Barefoot works perfectly on grass.
Towels
Have a towel handy for each guest. You'll want to dry off before heading inside.
Sunscreen
If the party is outdoors in the sun, apply sunscreen beforehand. Foam doesn't block UV.
Change of Clothes
Pack a dry outfit so guests can change after the foam fun is over.
No Goggles Needed
Our foam is gentle on skin and eyes. Goggles are optional. Most kids skip them.
Planning for a school, camp, or organization? Include foam party attire details on permission slips and event flyers so families come prepared.

Is Foam Safe for Toddlers and Young Children?
Yes, and it's one of the most common questions we get. Our foam is 100% non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and biodegradable. It's made from a gentle, water-based solution that won't irritate skin, eyes, or lungs. No harsh chemicals, no dyes, no artificial fragrances.
Foam parties are safe for children ages 2 and up. We recommend that toddlers have a parent or guardian nearby, just like at any water play activity. Our trained operator supervises the foam cannon at all times and adjusts the foam level for the age group.
And it's not just for kids. Adults love it too. Parents, teachers, and counselors regularly jump in. Foam parties are genuinely fun at every age.
Planning a Foam Party for Large Groups
Foam parties scale easily from 10 to 500+ guests. Here's how we make it work for organizations of every size.
Schools & Field Days
We work with school administrators on logistics, scheduling, and insurance. COI documentation provided on request. Stagger classes through the foam zone for groups of 50–300+.
Summer & Day Camps
Foam parties are the highlight of camp week. We coordinate with your schedule, rotate groups in and out, and adjust foam levels for different age groups throughout the day.
Churches & VBS
A foam party makes an unforgettable VBS closing event or youth group activity. We handle everything so your volunteer staff can focus on the kids, not the equipment.
Corporate & Community Events
Company picnics, fundraisers, and town festivals. Foam draws crowds and keeps energy high. We bring our own power and water solutions for large venues when needed.
We serve organizations across all of Western New York , including Buffalo, Rochester, and everywhere in between.
What About Cleanup and Rain Plans?
Two of the most common concerns, and two of the easiest to put to rest.
Foam Party Cleanup: We Handle Everything
After the party, our team packs up all equipment. The remaining foam dissolves on its own within 30–60 minutes. It simply evaporates into the air.
The foam won't kill grass, stain surfaces, or leave residue. Your yard will look completely normal by the next day. Many hosts are surprised at how little evidence there is that hundreds of kids just played in a mountain of bubbles.
What If It Rains?
Light rain? The party goes on. Foam and drizzle actually go great together. Kids barely notice the difference. It's already a wet activity, so a little rain just adds to the fun.
For heavy rain, thunderstorms, or unsafe conditions, we offer a free reschedule to a date that works for you. No hassle, no extra charge, no questions asked. We want your event to be perfect.
